Approved for distribution.
The amended PTO bylaws were published in the Rainbow Review. Lisa Stec reported there were no comments on the amended bylaws. The Board approved the amended bylaws and will sign them at the April PTO board meeting.
The Treasurer was not present and so we proceeded to the next agenda item.
The only issue regarding the PTO Carnival is whether enough volunteers will show up to man the ticket table, raffle, etc.
The raffle tickets were printed. There are three raffles and they must be kept separate. The first raffle is a general raffle. The second raffle is for an American girl doll. The third raffle is for a BMX bike.
The ORE PTO needs people to become officers for next year with the exception of co presidents and treasurer. The following posts will be advertised at the carnival: two fundraisers, publicity, family fun night, volunteer coordinator, Rainbow Review, Directory.
Lisa Stec reported the large drain pipes are gone and woodchips will be placed on the ground after winter, and the new piece of playground equipment will be installed in the next two months.
The Playground Committee is also working on a long term plan.
Lisa has contacted the University of Wisconsin for assistance in site planning.
All of the MSCR after school classes are going well with the exception of Drill Team. The Drill Team instructor was unreliable and so Drill Team was cancelled.
Catherine McKenzie said Orchard Ridge was represented at Destination Imagination and the team had fun.
We will place in our grant for SPARCs. Nanci Kopecky hopes to develop SPARCs packs this summer for the 1st grade classes.
